What is WhatsApp SMS verification?

Every fresh WhatsApp installation sends a six-digit confirmation code to the phone number you enter. If you would rather not hand over your own line, or you are setting up a second account, you need a temporary number to receive that code. That is exactly what an SMS verification service does: it reserves a number for you for a short window, shares it with nobody else, and displays the incoming message on your screen.

The number is single-use. Once the code arrives, the number returns to the pool and cannot be used for a second registration. This is inherent to how the service works and applies to every provider.

How to get a WhatsApp verification number

  1. Create your account and add credit.
  2. In the panel, pick WhatsApp as the service, then choose the country you want the number from.
  3. The number is reserved instantly and shown on screen. Enter it in WhatsApp.
  4. The six-digit code appears on the same screen. Type it into the app.

The whole flow usually takes a minute or two. If no code arrives there is no need to wait it out: cancel and try a different country.

Which country should you pick?

WhatsApp does not restrict which country a number belongs to; the account opens and works. In practice the choice affects two things: price and current availability. Prices can differ sharply between countries for the same platform, because the underlying carrier cost sets the price and that cost moves during the day.

The country list on this page is sorted from the lowest price upward. If one country has no numbers left, working down the list is the quickest route.

What happens if the code never arrives?

If no code reaches the number, the transaction counts as incomplete and the amount is returned to your balance. You are not charged for an unused number. This is not something you have to claim afterwards; it happens automatically when the window closes.

Requesting a resend is almost always slower than taking a fresh number: WhatsApp will not send a second code to the same number within a short interval.

Why the number of countries matters

The real capacity of an SMS verification service is measured less by how many platforms it lists and more by how many countries it can supply a number from for each platform. A service with a single country per platform is unusable the moment that country runs dry. Legal and sensible use

Virtual numbers are for opening a second account, registering without exposing your personal number, or completing a short-lived verification. Opening an account in someone else name, fraud, or use for spam breaches our terms of service and is grounds for closing an account.

Messages sent to the number are visible only in your own session, and the number returns to the pool once the transaction ends.
