Facebook accepts either an email address or a phone number at sign-up, so you can choose. Phone verification generally kicks in for three reasons: registration from a new device, an unusual sign-in attempt, and the account being placed under a security review.
The code arrives by SMS to the number, and the panel shows the full message.
How to get a number
- Add credit and open the panel.
- Pick the Facebook service, then the country.
- Enter the number in the phone field Facebook presents.
- Read the code from the panel and submit it.
Do not save the number to the account
After verification, Facebook may offer to add the number to your account. Decline: the number returns to the pool when the transaction ends and may be issued to another user. If you want a lasting security layer on your account, use an authenticator app.
Country choice
Facebook does not restrict the country of the number. The choice affects price and availability; the list is sorted from the lowest price upward.
Can I use the same number for Instagram?
Instagram and Facebook belong to the same company, but in the panel they are separate services and their codes arrive from different senders. Use the Instagram service for Instagram.
If the code never arrives
If the window closes without a code, the transaction is cancelled and the fee is credited back to your balance.
