TikTok verification

TikTok offers either email or phone at sign-up. If you register by phone, a six-digit code arrives at the number. Phone verification is also requested when you sign in from a new device, when an account is placed under security review, and when monetisation features are enabled.

Douyin is the Chinese version of TikTok and is listed under the same service in the panel.

How to get a number

  1. Add credit and open the panel.
  2. Pick the TikTok / Douyin service, then the country.
  3. Enter the number with its country code in the app phone field.
  4. Read the code from the panel and type it into the app.

Creator accounts

TikTok monetisation programmes require identity and tax information verification. A virtual number only covers the SMS step; if you intend to apply to those programmes you will need to set your own number on the account.

Country choice

TikTok does not restrict the country of the number, but the content you are shown is determined by location and language settings, not by the number. Taking a foreign number will not change your feed.

If the code never arrives

If the window closes without a code, the transaction is cancelled and the fee is credited back to your balance.
